Job Title: Manufacturing Production Operator

Job Summary: The Manufacturing Production Operator is responsible for performing various tasks in the production process to manufacture goods according to established specifications and quality standards. This role involves operating machinery, assembling components, monitoring production processes, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.

Responsibilities:

Machine Operation:

• Operating production machinery and equipment according to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety guidelines.
• Setting up machinery, adjusting settings, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions to ensure smooth operation.
• Monitoring machine performance, including speed, temperature, and output, and making adjustments as needed to maintain quality and efficiency.

Assembly and Production:

• Assembling components or parts into finished products according to production schedules and quality standards.
• Performing tasks such as loading materials into machines, feeding parts onto conveyor belts, or packaging finished goods.
• Inspecting products for defects, inconsistencies, or damage and addressing any issues according to established procedures.

Quality Control:

• Conducting quality inspections at various stages of the production process to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
• Reporting quality issues or deviations from standards to supervisors or quality assurance personnel for corrective action.
• Following quality control procedures and documentation requirements to maintain accurate records of production activities and outcomes.

Safety Compliance:

• Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines to prevent accidents, injuries, or hazards in the workplace.
• Using personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and following proper safety procedures for handling materials, chemicals, or equipment.
• Participating in safety training programs and promoting a culture of safety awareness among coworkers.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

• Performing routine cleaning and maintenance tasks on machinery, equipment, and work areas to ensure cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency.
• Reporting equipment malfunctions, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to supervisors for prompt resolution.
• Assisting maintenance personnel with repairs, adjustments, or upgrades to equipment as needed.

Team Collaboration:

• Collaborating with coworkers, supervisors, and other team members to achieve production goals and objectives.
• Communicating effectively to share information, coordinate tasks, and address production challenges or issues.

Requirements

 Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in manufacturing or related field preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, or assembly work is advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes, machinery, and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing tasks and inspections.
• Ability to follow instructions, work independently, and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Physical stamina and dexterity to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move materials as required.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing production demands.
